We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Design Engineer with expertise in Civil 3D and site design to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing land development, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Design and Development:

• Prepare and develop detailed civil engineering designs and plans using Civil 3D for a variety of projects including land development, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Create site layout plans, grading plans, utility plans, stormwater management plans, and erosion control plans.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support project planning and development.

• Project Engineering:
  • Support the design aspect of land development, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure all design and development activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

• Technical Expertise:
  • Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses for stormwater management systems.
  • Utilize Civil 3D to generate earthwork calculations, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.
• Review and interpret topographic survey data to inform design decisions.

• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and documentation for regulatory approvals and client presentations.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation for future reference and audit purposes.

• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and contributing to project decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, etc.).
