Our award winning client has an opening for an experienced Transactional Legal Secretary in their Corporate and Securities and Real Estate practice areas.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to Corporate and Securities and Real Estate attorneys and paralegals
Prepare, revise, proofread and redline legal documents
Prepare documents and facilitate entity formation (i.e. corporations, LLCs) and general corporate governance
Compose materials such as correspondence, minutes, real estate, and finance documents and general forms
Create, copy, and mail correspondence to clients and various government agencies
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years' experience as a Legal Secretary with transactional experience in corporate law, commercial and business transactions, and securities; real estate
Familiarity with federal and state securities filings, Reg D and state securities exemption filings
Strong system skills in document management systems and digital filing
Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, DocuSign, and Excel
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Superior oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact well with clients, vendors and coworkers
