Senior Business Development Representative

As a Senior Business Development Representative in The Company’s Bedding division, you’ll be at the forefront of sales, managing major accounts, expanding business opportunities, and driving revenue. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own and grow key accounts – Build, manage, and expand relationships with major companies, ensuring their needs are met while identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Drive new business opportunities – Leverage your industry expertise and connections to open doors and develop strategic partnerships. 
  • Develop winning account strategies – Craft and execute account plans that keep us ahead of competitors. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Work closely with design, supply chain, and production teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. 
  • Be a trusted advisor – Provide expert recommendations, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
  • Stay ahead of market trends – Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, gaining insights to shape future sales strategies. 
  • Manage sales forecasts and inventory – Keep an eye on stock levels, ensure accurate forecasting, and help prevent obsolete inventory. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Sales leadership & relationship management – You have experience managing large accounts and know how to turn connections into long-term partnerships.
  • Strong business acumen – You understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to drive success.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills – You’re a persuasive communicator who can close deals, influence decisions, and build lasting trust.
  • Self-starter mindset – You thrive in an independent role where you set and exceed your sales goals.
  • Adaptability & problem-solving skills – You think creatively and find innovative ways to meet customer demands.
  • Willingness to travel – You’re comfortable with 50%-70% travel, including potential international trips, to connect with customers and attend industry events.
WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Textiles, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
  • Proven track record in managing large accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Previous experience in the textile industry, furniture, upholstery, fabrics, or related industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to lift and transport sample bags (up to 50 lbs.).
